“Whimsical and poignant, accomplishing in but a few strokes what is essentially elusive.”
“Sophisticated with a sense of humor. Something very hard to accomplish, but Sandra is a master.”

Sandra Bertalanffy’s artistic practice explores how visual environments shape perception, atmosphere, and experience. Working primarily with ink and acrylic on paper, canvas, and wood panels, her work moves between delicate fineline drawings and expressive abstract compositions.
Shaped by her interdisciplinary education across business and the arts, Sandra’s work brings analytical structure and intuitive expression into dialogue. Many works begin in small scale and evolve into larger spatial translations, creating subtle yet tangible shifts in how a space is perceived and inhabited. Her collection of 300+ ink drawings offers a quiet visual commentary on contemporary developments, while larger-scale paintings approach similar underlying narratives from a more energetic and spatial perspective.
Her artworks have been exhibited in New York City (supported by the German Consulate General New York) and are part of private collections across Europe, the United States, South America, and Singapore. In addition to exhibitions, selected works have been adapted into site-specific formats for professional environments, supporting spaces seeking a shift in character through distinct visual and energetic presence.
Sandra also offers art talks and reflective sessions using selected works as a starting point for dialogue around perception, context, and transformation in professional life and beyond. These formats create a structured yet open space for observation, interpretation, and new perspectives, connecting visual experience with themes explored through Crack the Cocoon®.
